Policy snapshot: violence against women in the workplace

Karama launched the first in a series of policy snapshot papers looking at key issues and priorities across the Network.

Developed from contributions to recent conferences and events, the snapshots aim to present key aspects of pressing matters, and present current and potential strategies for dealing with them.

The first snapshot looks at violence against women in the workplace. Despite progress on women’s economic participation, women in the region still do no enjoy equal access to the workplace, and when they do secure a job, there are not sufficient protections against violence and harassment.
