Talking Garbage: Challenging the Politics of Dehumanization

In her message to mark the New Year, Hibaaq Osman considers the divisive and dehumanizing language being employed in populist circles. Reflecting in particular on the appallingly racist attacks against Somali-Americans from the US President, Hibaaq proposes a feminist approach to challenge such gutter politics.
